Welcome to the world of Editing
After traveling across the country from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific, I’ve set myself up in a little corner of my apartment and spend all day finishing my first feature documentary. Its a day perfect for a person with ADD personality. Usually consists of:
1. Watching the cut so far early in the morning.
2. Youtubing Michael Jackson Videos to clear my head.
3. Editing until I can’t think
4. Writing music for the edits that aren’t working in hopes that no one will notice
5. Making graphics where the music isn’t helping in a quest that cool graphics will make people think the movie was better.
6. Family Guy on Hulu
7. One last watch
8. Sleep.
I’m reaching that moment when I wonder about a year from now. Then I can simply sit back and watch my movie and maybe even forget how each edit came to be. A year from now I’ll be doing something else…whatever that is. I miss my friends in New York a lot sometimes. I constantly wonder if I truly made the right decision.
